THE WHY

I am Lynn and I now live my purpose. I stumbled across colonics in 2010 after a friend told me of her amazing experience with colonics and how great she had felt after a session. I booked a session later that week and my life as I knew it was changed forever. I had battled with chronic nasal and digestive issues for most of my young adult life. I would regularly get tonsillitis and chest infections, this followed with antibiotics about every two months and mouth ulcers from being so run down.

I have lived in Darwin for around 30 years and I am the sole owner of The Healthy Gut Centre (originally Colonics Darwin) which I opened in 2013. I completed my formal Colon Hydrotherapy training in Melbourne then studied to be a Health Coach (2015) through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, New York, which enables me to provide sound nutritional and health advice. This comes hand in hand with colonics as a balanced diet plays a huge role in a healthy gut. With thousands of colon hydrotherapy treatments under my belt, I feel privileged to say I love what I do. I get to heal people every day and educate and inspire them to take charge of their health.

In 2023 I left the NT after 33 years and am now based between Bali and the Sunshine Coast. I still offer my expertise over the phone through an individualized one on one gut health zoom call. If you feel like you are your wits end with your gut health journey then book a call with me today here.

My nose was either completely blocked or running, I had tension headaches, sinusitis and my digestive system was a mess. I had ear, nose and throat specialists stick cameras up my nose and tell me everything was fine and to keep using my steroid nasal sprays and antihistamines daily – this was just an issue I was going to have to learn to live with. Then I found colonics and the practitioner I saw picked up on a dairy intolerance. I removed the dairy and my body started working how it should. This is why I live and breathe the importance of food and how it is affecting our body systems.

Claudia is a Darwin local who has 9 years experience as a Cupping and Massage Therapist. She started water enemas around 7 years ago due to experiencing an array of gut issues and has been working on her gut health for around 10 years.

At times Claudia dealt constipation, diarrhoea and bloating so initially started addressing her diet to relieve some of her issues. It was then she came across colonics and became a very regular client in the clinic, booking herself in for a monthly colonic and doing her enemas in between. When she isn't in the clinic, Claudia is a wife and mum of two and is now bringing more ancestral foods into her household such as liver, eggs, raw milk and sauerkraut.
